Job Description

Our client, a leading luxury brand, is seeking an Import & Export Warehouse Specialist to join their growing logistics and operations team in Jersey City, NJ.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in international logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and international trade requirements.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation, customs, or delivery issues.
• Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely product movement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse receiving, shipping, and cycle count activities.
• Track and reconcile inventory discrepancies and shipment variances.
• Process transactions within ERP, WMS, or logistics management systems.
• Support warehouse organization and ensure products are handled according to company standards.
• Analyze logistics and transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and reporting related to international trade operations.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in import/export logistics, international transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers.
• Proficiency with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
• Advanced organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
